Well I guess you're right in the space is the limit. But I really didnt get it. The website that is. Papervision. For no reason. But I like the fact that they putting something out in the space. Even though it means yet another rocket out in the middle of nowhere. Polluting the space.

A lot of people have spoken about Farfar Academy being the creatives/strategists and Hyper Island the producers. I'm not so sure about that. I mean, I do a pretty good job around flash and stuff like that and I know there are a lot of hidden talents among us Farfar Academiens. The Hyper guys also have a great deal of what we supposedly should be better at. For instance the art director for Hotel626 is a Hyper graduate: http://hyperisland.blogspot.co....

What I'm trying to say is that I actually get quiet jealous when they launch their new sites. I mean, why couldn't we have done something like that? We have the skills and the passion, right? So what if the idea and execution lacks a bit of substance. It's still cool to look at and we're talking about it.

I think what's most significant for Hyper Island and the outcome of their different projects they do is that it has a given theme. Sometimes good, sometimes not. And most of the time it's well executed in design/ flash or whatever, since they're producers.
I'm working with an excellent designer at the moment that went to Hyper a couple of years ago. I think we can learn from each other that's my opinion. We should be friends. We are friends. Right?

Virgin Galactic have their act together... mr O;) I am thinking that we can to do something with Star Trek it would be very timely because there's a movie coming out soon. I am dont think space is soo cool lets do an under water thing with google maps we can probably find an amazing place to send our messages :) and hide them deep into the ocean...

That site is at least 200 times better than Berghs' department store thing from last year.
Make something spectacular... don't limit the audience to school's students or future employers... make it interactive, simple and entertaining.
The point is: get some PR about this project and create positive feelings about the school. Student's presentation is minimal, because nobody give a f***.
Ugly site, but smart idea.
